Clothing Drives
As temperatures begin to drop each year, Rise Up makes it our priority to collect and distribute as many warm clothing items as we can. We host a majorly successful winter coat drive each autumn and our “Sox-in-a-Box” campaign to collect new socks for the homeless and impoverished in our area.
Food Drives
Twice each year, Rise Up hosts a food drive at the ACME food store in Denville, NJ. We are always amazed at the generosity of our community, filling truck-fulls of nonperishable food items for the Rockaway Food Closet! We also hand out free Rise Up shopping bags as a thank you to our supporters.
